Courses
I've designed and taught multi-week courses for elementary and college students, combining hands-on projects with the fundamentals of design, technology, and creative problem-solving.
Design & Authoring for Interactive Media I
Fashion Institute of Technology
New York, NY
Spring 2017
An undergraduate course where students explored the principles of interaction design, usability, and digital interface design. Through hands-on projects, they strengthened their HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills while learning modern development tools and design critique methods.
Programming Wearables (Grades 3-5)
Geek Forest
Brooklyn, NY
Winter 2016
A 6-week after-school course where students age 7-10 built on their electronics skills by programming Arduino-based wearable projects. Using microcontrollers and addressable RGB LEDs, they created interactive wearables that responded with dynamic light patterns and behaviors.
Wearables: Sewing with Electronics (Grades 3-5)
Geek Forest
Brooklyn, NY
Fall 2016
A 8-week after-school course introducing children to electronics through wearable technology. Students learned the basics of analog circuits using conductive thread, conductive ink, and copper tape to create interactive garments and accessories that lit up and played sounds.
Inventors Club (Grades 3-5)
United Nations International School
New York, NY
Fall 2016
A hands-on 8-week after-school course where students combined crafting and electronics to create interactive projects. Through activities like sewing light-up felt toys and adding circuits to origami, they explored creativity, engineering, and the fundamentals of physical computing.
Workshops
I enjoy teaching short one-day classes where I can introduce people from diverse backgrounds to technology or crafts and inspire them to combine materials and skills in new creative way.
